Faraz Khosravi Danesh, a university lecturer, founder and leader of the Damour vocal group, who is also a member of the Composers’ Association of the Iran Music House. At the age of 15, he entered the Boys’ Conservatory of Music and benefited from the presence of professors such as Dr. Arbi Baboumian and Hoyek Baghomian and succeeded in obtaining a diploma in piano playing. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Tehran Higher School of Music, and studied piano with Professor Amir Sarraf and later with Professor Tamara Dolidze. Faraz studied composition and orchestration with professors such as Taghi Zarabi, Masoud Ebrahimi, Arman Norouzi, Kambiz Roshan Ravan, Montazeri , and in 2010, founded the Damour vocal group and won third place at the 27th Fajr International Music Festival.
Among his works, we can mention arranging and composing in the music album of Silence Seven and composing, arranging and leading in the album of Damour vocal group. Faraz Khosravi Danesh has collaborated with artists such as Meysam Marvasti and Maziar Fallahi during his artistic career. He has repeatedly invited to the Islamic Republic Radio and Television to perform with Damour Vocal Ensemble. Other international works include composing the soundtrack of the animated Shapers by Al-Mayadin News Network.
